AS A JUNIOR (2012)
Played in 48 games, starting 47…All-SSC Second-Team selection…Finished the season with a .324 batting average and 13 stolen bases…Went 3-for-4, stole two bases and scored four runs in the Sharks’ season-opening doubleheader sweep of Webber International (2/1/12)…Batted .500 (4-for-8) and drove in two runs in a doubleheader at West Florida (2/4/12)…Was 4-for-7 at the plate in two games against Valdosta State (2/5/12)…Knocked three hits, including a double, to go with two runs scored and a stolen base in 3-1 defeat of Flagler (2/11/12)…Drove in a run and scored another in an 8-0 shutout of Lincoln Memorial (2/25/12)…Scored three times in NSU’s 8-5 win at Columbus State (2/27/12)…Was a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs scored and two stolen bases in a 16-0 victory at Eckerd (3/17/12)…Went 2-for-3 with a triple and a stolen base against Barry (3/24/12)…Recorded six hits, three runs scored and two stolen bases in series sweep of Saint Leo (3/30-4/01/12)…Had a pair of hits, including a triple, while also driving in one run and scoring another in 6-0 win at Lynn (4/14/12)…Went 1-for-2 and scored two runs in 9-1 win over Florida Southern (4/22/12).

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Attended Santa Fe College for two years…All-Mid-Florida Conference first-team selection as a freshmen and second-team as a sophomore…Batted .380 as a freshman and .330 as a sophomore.

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Gulliver Preparatory…Played softball for four years and volleyball for two…Was selected to the All-Dade team each year of high school.

Born in Boynton Beach, Fla….Has spent time volunteering at animal shelters…Favorite sports team is the New York Yankees…Daughter of Jim and Jackie Vega.
